Around Tokyo(Kanto)

The Kanto region consists seven prefectures as 

Tokyo,Kanagawa,Chiba,Saitama,Gunma,Tochigi,Ibaraki.

There are no high mountains in the Kanto area, but there are plenty of natural areas that can be enjoyed on a day trip from Tokyo. From the World Heritage Site of Nikko to the old capital of Kamakura, you can enjoy light hiking and a touch of history.
It is also possible to stay overnight in Tokyo and visit the best areas of the day, weather permitting.

Some areas of the Kanto region are only an hour's train ride from Tokyo, giving you the chance to get away from the urban landscape and experience the Japanese countryside. Nature hikes in the Kanto area are a great option for short stays.
