The area is located in the Hokkaido region of Japan. It is one of the four main islands that make up the Japanese archipelago and is located in the northern part of Japan.

From the 17th to 19th centuries, the Ainu people inhabited a large area extending from the northern Tohoku region to Hokkaido, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands. A small number of Ainu people still live in Hokkaido today, living in harmony with the rich natural environment.

he best time to hike in Hokkaido is from June to October. Conversely, winter is the fabric of powdery snow, including in Niseko. A car is recommended as a means of transport, but you will still be able to enjoy the wilderness unlike any other Japanese area. Daisetsuzan National Park is one of the earliest areas in Japan to have autumn colours.
The area is also rich in seafood such as crab, salmon roe, salmon and sea urchin, making it the best place to eat sushi!!
